I can't resist a new lippie. The call of the silky, shiny lip lacquer is far too strong for me to resist. So when I left for Nashville, I only took a a lipgloss. One trip to pick up some toothpaste (which lead to other shops) and I was back to being flush with lipcolor. Here are my picks for last week.
elf cosmetics Studio Lipbalm in Nude: This balm packs a nice amount of pigment, feels hydrating and lasts for at least an hour. Not too bad for about $3!
Naked Lipgloss in Nooner: This is one of the newer lipglosses in the Naked line from Urban Decay. It's got that same vanilla mint scent that I'm not a huge fan of, but it do like how it makes my lips look. Add a little lipliner and it's a pretty great sheer nude.
Blushing Orchid from Giella: I still love this color more than anything else in my purse. It's just the perfect orchid for someone with pale skin. Check out my review here.
Milani Power Lips in Raspberry Tart: This color does not stop. It looks just as lovely when you apply it as it does hours later. It may fade if you eat something with a bit of oil, but otherwise, this lippie is in it to win it. It's never dry looking; instead, it gives a smooth, satin appearance that doesn't budge.
Bite Matte Cream in Grape: This color is that almost too weird to consider purple. You know, the one that seems to work on Khloe Kardashian, but not on anyone else? I'm surprised by how much I like it on me. It's truly matte, but doesn't feel dry on the lips.
Milani Lip Intense Liquid Color in Fiery Coral: This is another long wearing home run from Milani. (I wish Milani sold their new releases in Baltimore- I would own so much more!) It's a little more pink than coral and it's bright. Really, really bright! It feels luxe on the lips and is only scented slightly. This is the only one that I am apprehensive to wear, because it's so bright. But what did I expect from a color called Intense?
