LOVE THIS: A Girl's Gotta Spa! Energizing Citrus Salt Scrub

Have I mentioned lately how much I love exfoliators with oomph? Nothing is worse than when you settle in for a good scrub and the exfoliation stinks. Those little beads that you can barely feel, let alone scrub anything? Hate 'em. It's so disappointing. Why bother? I always feel like companies who make those kind of products didn't even try--like they gave up halfway into development.

Of course, a scrub that combines a toughness with the delicate scent of citrus will win my heart every time. Which brings us to the Energizing Citrus Salt Scrub at hand, a new-to-me scrub from the woman who made "spa" a verb (and made spa testing into an actual job): Shannon from A Girl's Gotta Spa!.

 best salt scrub,

A Girl's Gotta Spa! Energizing Citrus Salt Scrub is delicious on all levels. It's not too runny or oily, my other scrub pet peeve. Her salt-based scrub isn't going to put a horrific film on your shower, because it's slightly dryer than most scrubs. While it's hard to call a salt scrub fluffy, this one is somehow actually kind of fluffy. And rinsing it off is a glorious experience. My skin was so incredibly soft, even my husband was gobsmacked.

 best salt scrub,

The blend of Dead Sea Salt, avocado oil and green tea is the perfect combo of exfoliation, antioxidants and oils. Plus, it's mouth-watering and cruelty-free. What's not to love? (Ever floated in the Dead Sea? The water kind of feels like loose jello and it can be hard to get your footing if you float on your front. Keep that in your back pocket for later, will ya?)

Grab this from A Girl's Gotta Spa! for $32.00.

Me in the Dead Sea. Don't float like this. It's trickier than you think, that salt water.

  1. I love the name of this brand, that is fantastic. It looks really gritty, I like my scrubs to be quite abrasive but not rough, if that makes sense. This sounds and looks beautiful, thanks for sharing x
