Too Faced has taken chocolate to a whole new level. First, it was their beautiful bronzer, Chocolate Soleil. Then they launched the Chocolate Bar Eyeshadow Palette. Now, they launched a new powder foundation, Cocoa Powder Foundation, that gives an airbrushed finish and leaves behind the slight scent of decadent chocolate.
What makes this powder foundation different? Chocolate, for one! This foundation definitely smells of cocoa. My Chocolate Bar didn't have that much of a scent, but that isn't the case for this powder. If you love chocolate, you'll never put this down.
(wearing Vanilla Glow BB Cream and Cocoa Powder in Golden Light)
Even better than smelling so sweet is the fact that it contains crystalline powder. This kind of powder provides a diffused finish, like the power of photoshop in your palm. You can layer the powder throughout the day and provided you use a light hand, it won't get cakey or dry looking!
I personally prefer to wear it on top of Vanilla Glow, Too Faced's lightest BB Cream option. I like how it makes my skin look. And that finish stays throughout the day.
I apply the Vanilla Glow Beauty Balm with my fingers and smooth it out with a flat top buki. I then apply the Cocoa Powder Foundation with a looser buki brush from Too Faced and blend until I'm happy with the finish.
Afterwards, I like to add a little touch of bronzer from the Chocolate Soleil Medium/Deep Matte Bronzer to my cheek hallows, to the tip of my chin and along my hairline. The Cocoa Powder Foundation is available in eight shades from Fair to Deep Tan. The end result is one deliciously perfected glow!
The foundation retails for $34. Check it out wherever Too Faced is sold.
