Mascara Layering Super Combo= Two Great Mascaras for One Amazing Look

Layering your mascaras can you give lashes that you never thought were possible. Every now and then, I find a combo that works shockingly well, making me want to yell about it from the rooftops. Last weekend, I discovered one such amazing combination.

My lashes are thick and very close together on their own. I haven't been using any lash growing serums, so they are very short. I mean really, really short. I don't know how they keep bugs or dust out of my eyes, they are so short.

I wanted longer lashes that look more ingenue than supermodel and have been having a hard time getting them. Until this combo.

Apply It Cosmetics Hello Lashes 5-1 Mascara first. Then apply a second coat of Too Faced's Better Than Sex Mascara. Comb out with a spooli if needed. Don't be afraid to get in there with a comb and work it out. Those of us with lashes that are lacking shouldn't be afraid to put in a little extra work. The results are nothing short of amazing.

It's like magic. What is your favorite way to layer mascara? Tell me in the comments!

  1. I have actually never tried layering mascaras, thanks for the suggestion!

  2. OOOH, I've got an open IT Hello Lashes that's maybe a month old and a brand new Too Faced one. I'll have to try this combo. Not all combos work but this one could be very special.

  3. I personally have been using Mary Kay's black lovelash lengthening and then Rimmel London's scadaleyes retro glam. No need for falsies between those two!!

  4. Awesome! I layer Better than sex and my Rimmel "Glam Eyes" .. I like the Rimmel just on my lower lashes though because of the thin brush and even coat.
