Veet Infini’Silk Permanent Hair Reduction + Giveaway

Sent for review. Contest provided by Veet.

I know we all kid around that we stop shaving in the winter. But you don't, do you (do you really?) Wouldn't it be great to never have to think about it again?

Now is your chance to check out the Veet Infini’Silk for yourself. I've just started using it, but I can't wait to see the results. It's easy, way faster than going to a doctor's office, safe and effective on most people. It's not a laser, that thingy that burns the hair off; it's IPL (intense pulsed light).  Don't be scared by using IPL at home. You can't hurt yourself, it's simple to use and you can stop paying for those really expensive razor cartridges. I've just started the process and I have one to give away. Let's do this together!

Assuming you are getting rid of that annoying leg hair, you'll want to treat your legs every two weeks. I'm told I will start to see less growth after just three treatments and that I should start to see permanent results after about ten weeks.

It's very easy to use. You start by shaving the hair down to the skin level, so everything is smooth. Then you turn on the Veet, adjust the level to whatever is most comfortable for you (I'm on level 3) and place the end of the Veet against your skin. Then you simply pull the trigger and wait for the little pop and flash. It doesn't hurt--it feels like a really small rubber band snap, if that. It's similar to what you might feel in a doctor's office, but not quite as sharp. Then you move on to the next section of your body and repeat until you've covered your entire leg. One leg takes me about 10 minutes.

You can use this on your arms, legs, underarms or bikini line. Just don't use it around your face. Be sure to keep any treated areas away from the sun and always wear an SPF. Just like most IPL hair removal treatments, in doctors' offices or at home, dark hair will respond better to the treatment. Essentially, there needs to be a color difference between the skin and the hair. If you have dark skin or very tanned skin, this product is for you. Lighter hair, like light brown and some blonds, can be permanently removed, but it may take more treatments.

Share this picture on pinterest, will ya?

If you consider how expensive and time-consuming it can be to visit a doctor for this kind of treatment, the price of the Veet Infini'Silk is a steal. Grab one for yourself and say good bye to unwanted hair! Or if you are feeling lucky, enter to win one below by following the rafflecopter instructions! Enter either way, you know you wanna! I'll post again soon and let you know how it's going for me. In the meantime, enter to win your very own Veet Infini'Silk!
