It Cosmetics has been my go-to brand for more than a year. Each time I look for something new, something that pushes the envelope and leads the way in the art of being fabulous, the road ends with It Cosmetics.

Each formulation is better than the next. Their CC Cream is my favorite American brand, hands down. The new trend is towards a lighter feeling product with skincare benefits that cover skin to reveal a perfect finish. That is exactly what you get with the new CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation. Not only does it contain an SPF of 50, which is a great addition to your daily sunscreen, it also contains skincare that can dramatically improve the appearance of your skin.

It Cosmetics says it best:

"Introducing CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation SPF 50+, a new concept in foundation and skincare that is clinically proven to brighten your complexion, improve skin tone evenness and minimize pores & fine lines, and the first to market by an American Brand! This revolutionary foundation will change the way you think of foundation. CC+ Veil has an ultra-lightweight, breathable formula that is infused with pure color pigments for buildable coverage that lasts! Drops of Light Technology brightens and color corrects your skin to provide a hydrating, luminous finish and SPF 50+ UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Physical Sunscreen protects your skin from damaging UVA/UVB rays. Great for all skin types, CC+ Veil is clinically proven to absorb excess oils and minimizes the appearance of pores. Plus your skin is quenched and nourished with anti-aging powerhouse ingredients such as anti-aging peptides, niacin, algae, vitamins A, C, B, E, hyaluronic acid, and hydrolyzed collagen that not only give you instant benefit of beautiful skin but the long-term benefit of treated skin as well! The included non-absorbing puff applicator soothes the skin while optically blurring away imperfections and fine lines."

(I'm wearing It's BBUE Concealer here. That stuff is AMAZING!)

This compact comes with a puff, which I don't like to use.(I dislike sponges and puffs. I don't think they are ever clean. It's one of my many, many quirks). I strongly prefer using a flat top buki with these types of foundations. However, using the puff gives you a more natural finish that may last a little longer. Using a brush gives you a dewier finish that may not last as long. Either way, use of a primer like It's Feel The Moment extends the wear considerably.

It's CC+ Veil Beauty Fluid Foundation is available in five colors that range from Fair to Rich, so one might work for you. The fair is the shade I wear. Like all products from It Cosmetics, this foundation is easy to apply, goes on beautifully without a ton of work and makes your skin glow without looking too made up. I've not been wearing it daily long enough to comment on the skincare benefits but when I do wear it, I get comments from strangers on how beautiful my skin looks.

Pick it up for yourself anywhere It Cosmetics are sold for $38.

  1. I've seen a few pics of this and in the pics, the CC cream looks sort of spongey. Is that the case? Or does it have more of a regular cream foundation texture?

  2. Assuming you are referring to this CC cream version...the cream is below a sponge, so I see the confusion. It's a little more liquid than the original CC cream that comes in a tube.

  3. Ahh i see. I wasn't sure what I was looking at, if it was a spongey thing or if that was just the cream itself. I've never used it cosmetics but you say such nice things about them I might need to try them sometime!
