Beauty Shorts: Fresh Breath, Friendly Vitamins and Super Shine

For this weeks Beauty Shorts installment, let's look at some amazing metallics, some must have minis and consider what I would do every morning for free eyeshadow.

Getting your beauty rest is extremely important. And it's the perfect time to let your products do the heavy lifting for you. Protect your pout, whiten your teeth and freshen your breath with this multi-tasking wonder, Smile and Kiss, from Talika! It gives you a light coat of moisture on your lips and a similarly light coat of whitening freshness on your teeth. You'll wake up with a bright smile and soft, kissable lips. And if your breath isn't the best, pop some additional whitening on your teeth for a really minty fresh touch.

I stink at remembering to take my vitamins. I'm terrible at it. Even if you said, "Hey, Gouldy! I'll give you a fancy new eyeshadow for every morning you remember to take your vitamins", I couldn't do it. What has made it slightly easier to remember is by changing up the way I take vitamins. Instead of the pill that may or may not ever absorb into my bodybits, I've been using Sprayology. Sprayology uses a different delivery method that allows the vitamins to work faster. Two quick sprays under the tongue and your vitamins are absorbed into the blood stream lickety-split. I've been keeping them by my toothbrush, making it much easier to keep up with my vitamins no matter what. (Although if my doctor ever offers that eye shadow deal, I'd try really hard for at least a week.)

I can't get enough of Votre Vu's Bebe Duette. I told you how much I loved this lip and hand combo the first day I received it years ago. Now it's available in a clear lip moisturizing formula and a raspberry-tinted formula. Your hands and your lips will thank you! The Bebe size is small enough to go anywhere. I keep one with me at all times! Pick these two up for $39.50.

We all know I adore nothing more than a good coral / peach and a great metallic gray. I can't turn away from those colors. I love them dearly. Which is (partially) why I am jonesing hard for the new Cargo Metallico Collection. This collection includes a fun clutch, a single eyeshadow that I need, NOW, a glitter top coat, a waterproof black eyeliner, a lash activator and a shiny rosy lipgloss.

Honestly, I am drooling over this for the shadow alone.

(The shadow on its own on top. With the glitter top coat on the bottom.)

It's so metallic, gritty and sparkly that it doesn't come across on camera. So I took a video of it to show you. It's so sparkly that my camera can't focus on it.

I tried it with several cameras and it's just too awesomely alive. It's gorgeous. Agree? Pick it up at Ulta for $59.
