The Dry Skin That Almost Ruined My Vacation (And How Mario Badescu Saved It).

A few weeks ago, testing a new cleanser really dried out my already dry skin. My skin felt tight and even itchy. My usual routine wasn't able to balance out the drying effects of the cleanser. I was starting to think I had finally done some damage to my skin testing all of these products.

Whether your skin is dry from chlorine, too much sun, harsh cleansers or just because, here's how I saved my super dry skin and returned it to normal.

I started by cleansing with Mario Badescu's Orange Cleanser. This has been my go-to cleanser for a months. It's creamy, safe for my sensitive skin and leaves me feeling refreshed! There are only a few cleansers that make their way to my Holy Grail list and this is definitely one of them.

Then I treated my skin to Mario Badescu's Enzyme Revitalizing Mask. This very creamy mask feels amazing on skin and has a strong but not unpleasant odor. You'll live, so try to get past it if the smell annoys you. It's worth it.

I finished with  Mario Badescu's The Moisture Magnet SPF 15 to give my skin a serious drink throughout the day.

By the time Monday rolled around, my skin was back to normal and felt amazing. I was thrilled. I'm not sure I could have lived with dry, itchy, flaky skin on my face for another day!
