I have been using Dr. Perricone's Advanced Eye Therapy under one eye for about 45 days. I was quite honestly shocked when, within the first week, I saw a dramatic difference in the skin around my left eye.
I have definite wrinkling from smiling around my eyes, especially from my eyes across to my cheekbones. I have tried a variety of eye creams and this product has yielded the best results by far. I specifically used the product on one eye only so I could see what developed. My only regret is that my eyes are now so uneven, wrinkle-wise.
According to Dr. Perricone, "Not only does it minimize the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and puffiness, it works to decrease the appearance of dark circles and discoloration with its other key science: Vitamin C Ester. Vitamin C Ester imparts a smooth and luminous appearance, and like DMAE and Alpha Lipoic Acid, it also diminished the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles."
If the eye cream worked this well, I am curious to know what else they have that can produce these kind of results!

Oh my gosh, that IS dramatic! Eye creams I've used--the list would be too long. Recently, I've tried Bliss The Youth as We Know It--meh, Olay ProX Age Repair Lotion, Cures by Avance Age Defyer Eye --very nice, currently using.
ReplyDeleteI have tried a Perricone lotion in the past, can't rememeber the name but it did have DMAE & Alpha Lipoic Acid in it, I got good results but it was too expensive to keep up with. Would love to try this!
That IS dramatic. I give you credit for putting it only on one eye for the sake of research. Now hurry up and start putting it on the other eye!
ReplyDeleteI've tried RoC eye cream and their nightime cream. They do produce results, but not enough to make me feel like there is a dramatic difference in the past few months. I've also tried Philosophie's Eye Hope and another one of their eye products. They are also good, but not good enough that I'd continue.
The craziest idea I've ever heard of is to gently dab a small amount of hot sauce on wrinkles in the eye area I'm alergic to peppers, so I can't try it. I can only imagine how much it would burn both the eyes and the skin. It's a bizarre mark of how far we'll go to achieve beauty.
I'd love to try the Perricone treatement. Please let me win!
I've tried Olay products, RoC, and the Garnier Nutrisse eye roller serum, but I can't say that I've seen any noticeable results. Your Perricone results are Most Impressive!!! Fingers crossed!!!
ReplyDeleteWOW! Nice results!!! And I saw in your "wish list" to the right for a lipstick that is more apricot than pink... Maybe try:
ReplyDeleteLipstick Queen's Fifteen Minutes of Fame liquid lipstick in 4 minutes,
3CC's Whisper lipgloss (you knew I'd mention this, didn't ya? ha ha!),
and finally L'Oreal's Color Juice Stick in Mango Tango.
Those are 3 of my personal staples. LOVE.
Stay warm this weekend! You can always pretend you are snowed in. ;)

Thanks Jami! I am ordering the Whisper gloss shortly - I promise! I have to pace myself! I also just checked out a Revlon color Peach that is way brighter than I was expecting.
ReplyDeleteI am really happy with the results - I just wish the other eye would catch up (so far, no other products are matching up!)
I haven't tried any anti-wrinkle creams, but I would love to win this for my mother. I want to help her re-vamp her skincare. She was in the habit of using anti-acne drying face washes for decades until somebody (her doctor, perhaps?) told her that she should switch to a more moisturizing cream cleanser. She doesn't use an eye treatment and I think she'd benefit from one, especially one as powerful as Dr. Perricone's! This way I can help my mother look as fabulous as possible!
ReplyDeleteI have very dark circles and I have tried various eye creams with no success.
ReplyDeleteI mostly try Olay and I thought it worked moderately well... but it was NOTHING compared to this! Talk about impressive!

Hi! You really had excellent results.....I'd love some help for my eye area too :) I've tried several eye creams and they're either not moisturizing enough or get in my eyes resulting in teary irritated eyes. I've tried (and don't care for) Avon, L'Oreal, Prescriptives, Clinique, Dr. Denese and more. Thanks for the chance at this one.

I have always had my dark circles and now that I am aging the wrinkles are very noticeable, while using concealers creates more damage to the eye area. Hence I have tried Clinique, Estee Lauder, Olay, and the list goes on and on......nothing has really worked! I would love to be able to try this and see the results you attained....keeping my fingers crossed and my dark circles ready!!!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful results in these women! I've tried eye moisturizers and serums by Avon, Roc, Olay, Neutrogena, and Garnier with no visible results.
ReplyDeleteI really have not used eye creams in the past, thinking that just your face moisturizer is sufficient in the eye area. But now that the 40's have hit, it's time to intensify the eye area treatment.

I met Dr. Perricone when he was thinking about doing an infomercial with Time Life -- I got to try a lot of the products and really liked them. Especially the olive oil based moisturizer which was a little more gentle. you know me -shelleyg@gkv....
ReplyDeleteIf a product has "eye" anything on it, I've tried it. I find that my eyes feel most moisturized, however, nothing has diminished the undereye bagginess; I have also tried eye products that are supposed to hydrate and tighten the saggy baggy eyelids, but nothing seems to work.
ReplyDeleteAmazingly dramatic changes! And I have spent monies and used Eye Creams and Lifts and the list goes on!!!
ReplyDeleteMy list would also be into the mile of length.......and way too long.
Recently, I've tried Kinerase, Cosmedicine, Olay, Garnier, Hope inthe Tube and Serum, Bliss The Youth as We Olay ProX Age Repair Lotion, Cures by Avance Age Defyer Eye
Prescriptives, Clinique, Dr. Denese SO now the next ......
I need for wrinkles, Puffiness, darken circles and JUST ADD THE LIFE AND SMILE AND SPARKLE back in my eyes:)
Wow! Talk about a noticable difference. I've used Neutrogena, Olay Regenerist and their new Pro Rx, Hope In A Tube, Strivectin, Clinique, Bare Escentuals...and more...while several have helped add moisture - NONE have helped with the wrinkles or the darkness I've acquired with aging. I feel like this has been a never ending quest! Thanks so much for this review and for putting the link on the How Do You BE forum!

I've tried everything!! Just got Perricone's Cold Plasma eye, bit was wondering if I still needed somewthing to put over that. Advanced Eye Therapy could be the thing! I do see the results in your pics. Thanks for doing that experiment!

Okay,Emma.(Peele, get it?) I looked at my face up close for possibly the first time in eleven years just this morning, and discovered that even I am not immune to a baffled regret for the sagging, wrinkling little weird bits that used to be my eyelids. I assumed that there was nothing to be done at this stage of advanced neglect, and I came to you for solace and lucked on this entry. Go figure. You know I don't know the difference between hair gel and WD40, so it might be a case of pearls before oinkies. Or it could start something really beautiful. Anyway, I'm in. The photos and writeup are amazing and compelling. Yet AGAIN, you've made me a believer.
