Too Faced Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette

I really liked the first Chocolate Bar Palette from Too Faced. But I LOVE the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette. Fun fact: I don't like actual chocolate! My weird opposition to actual chocolate has nothing to do with my opinion of this palette. In fact, the colors in this palette are makeup magic. Sure, it's more browns, but they are way beyond basic browns. Of course, it smells fantastic, just like the original Chocolate Bar Palette.

You need to grab this palette for a few reasons. The main one? They nailed caramels, which is one of the hardest colors to truly capture. They created the perfect, shimmering cool-toned medium browns as well. Caramels are so hard to get right. This palette oozes beautiful caramels...your lids will never be sweeter!

But the caramel colors are not the only reason to embrace the Semi-Sweet Chocolate Palette. Several other colors are standouts, too!

Peanut Butter, a matte shade, is an unusual reddish brown that is beautiful shade for blue eyes.

Pink Sugar lives up to its name by being an almost sheer pink glitter that adds a beautiful sheen to the inner corner of your lids or over the center of the eye.

You'll also get both Coconut Cream, a cool, light bone in an oversized shade and Butter Pecan, a shimmering warm nude.

Blueberry Swirl brings a somewhat sheer blueberry sheen to the palette, which is otherwise all neutrals and browns. I had expected this shade to be more pigmented, but it's beautiful in its sheer simplicity. Of course, using any of these shades with a primer will make the color payoff that much more intense.

The Semi-Sweet Chocolate Bar Palette is such a nice departure from the usual browns and nudes. It's definitely high on my list of must-have palettes and is a great start to 2015!
