The Perfect Romantic Holiday Look Featuring Mary Kay® Cosmetics

Makeup should be festive and fun, without being so complicated. Am I right?

Check out this look I did using Mary Kay® Cosmetics. I used three simply beautiful shadows, a layered blush and a beautiful berry lip to create a fresh, pretty and really simple, romantic look that really works for the holidays!






Here is what I used to create this Mary Kay® Holiday Look:

Eyeshadows: Spun Silk, Lavender Fog and Driftwood
Blush: Sheer Bliss Cream Blush, Shy Blush
Liner: Deep Brown (inner rims only)
Lips: Neutral lip liner, True Dimensions® Lipstick in Rosette



After prepping your skin and applying your foundation, concealer and primers, start by applying Spun Silk shadow over your entire lower lid. This shadow is a great base color. It's got a touch of satin sheen, but isn't sparkly or shiny. Spun Sheen is the key to a look that lightly glistens!



Next, using the thin edge of a shadow brush, apply Driftwood in the crease of your lid, not connecting it to the lash line. Then sweep Lavender Fog in the "V" between your lash line and lid crease. The combination of the purple and brown will make any eye color pop without looking overdone.



To really bring the focus to your eyes, line your upper and inner rims using Mary Kay® Deep Brown Eyeliner. This doesn't have to be smudged or complicated and I didn't choose black because I wanted the look to be softer. You just want to make your eyes stand out a bit more.



Finally, apply Mary Kay® Lash Love® Mascara to your upper and lower lashes. This combo of liner and mascara really make your eyes look fresh and bright!



To sculpt your cheeks, start by applying the Mary Kay® Cream Blush in Sheer Bliss to the apples of your cheeks, sweeping the color slightly upward and towards your hairline. Then apply Shy Blush over the apples and up towards your eyes in a classic "C" shape.


To finish the look, I used Mary Kay® Neutral Lip Liner to fill in my lips.

Next, apply True Dimensions® Lipstick in Rosette to add a pop of shiny color that really makes blue eyes pop.
