What's Your Favorite Makeup Palette?

Question of the Week: What’s your favorite makeup palette, and why?

This is a tricky question! Picking just one is entirely too intense for my Sunday morning. Right now, I can't seem to put down the extremely shiny and glittery Skinny Dip Palette by Jouer. It's just too summery and perfect to ignore. It even makes Mondays not hurt as much. What's your favorite palette? This palette from Anastasia finally dropped and I'm not so sure I need it. I'm not sure yellow shadow and I are friends. Thoughts?

  1. The new Anastasia palette leaves me cold. I have many shades close to those in other palettes and I barely use them. Just no. As for my favorite palette, I keep going back to my trusty Naked 3. The colours are so soft and flattering. For crazier looks, I go to some singles I have to mix and match and spice things up.

    1. After seeing how dusty it is, I have to pass on that one, too!

  2. My fav is an oldie, but goody: Bare Minerals Be Beautiful Palette. It's all matte, which works for me for a great everyday look - can be very nude looking, or smokey. The blush works well for my pale skin, I just use a slightly shimmery highlighter on the tops of my cheek bones when I want. It's the one palette I travel with to cut down bringing multiple shades - I'll bring several colored eyeliners to add a punch of color: blues, greens, purples along with my trusty brown.

    1. Hmmm...I will have to check it out! I did pick up their new foundation this week, which I hope is natural looking and not too glam!
