Only once in my life have I ever stocked up on a drugstore foundation, just in case it was discontinued. Sure, drugstore foundations have come a really long way, but for dry skin with the beginning signs of aging, only one foundation has made me not miss my Bravon, Too Faced or It Cosmetics.
Maybelline Fit Me! foundation is the last drugstore foundation that made a real impression. It's available in fifteen shades. Unfortunately, more of them work for lighter skin than darker skin (why is that, Maybelline?). For me, the Fit Me! foundation is just as good as MAC or MUFE. It gives skin a beautiful glow that is slightly dewy, it never oxidizes on my skin and it doesn't wear away or get patchy. I can't find anything better at the drugstore. I like the original formula best, but you can get it in a matte formula, too.
For drugstore concealers, I have nothing. Dry skin with wrinkles is tough. If you have a favorite, share it in the comments. Or better yet, see what the other Makeup Wars warriors have to say by clicking the tiles below!
