Beginner's Guide: It Cosmetics

Wondering if IT's really worth it? (OMGYASS!) It Cosmetics has become one of my favorite brands over the last few years for excellent reason. Almost every, single product is a home run.

Want to look like you, perfected? Check.

Want a concealer that's an actual eye lift? Yup.

Need a killer lash? Boom.

Want skincare infused into your makeup brush? Ok. I'm still working on figuring this one out. I'm not opposed to the idea, I just don't understand it. Yet.

With so much to love about It Cosmetics, let's dive into the the best of the best! And with not one but TWO big sales happening, it's the perfect time to stock up.

From November 1st through November 5th, get 25% off of purchases totaling $30+ and free standard shipping from ItCosmetics.com, using ITFRIENDS at checkout.

Sephora VIB Rouges will get 20% off with code 20ROUGE online and in stores November 4th through November 7th.

If you have been watching It on QVC and wondering what you can't live without, here is my list of absolute must-haves. I really pared down this list, so if you want to know if any other products are worth it, just ask me! Now, on to the best of It Cosmetics!

Hands down, the concealers from IT are the best. Bye Bye Under Eye Anti-Aging Concealer ($24.00) is everything if you have dark circles or under eyes that need to be cleaned up. Bye Bye Under Eye Corrector ($29.00) is my all time favorite concealer. It covers, it never cracks and it looks so much like skin, you can wear it on its own. Oh yeah--if you keep using it, the peptides make a big difference in fine lines.

If you haven't tried the CC+ Cream, I don't know what you're waiting for. Either the original or the illuminated version of this deliver the most beautiful skin, with a small amount of powerful product. You don't need to be a makeup artist or have a litany of brushes. Anyone can get the look of perfected skin, with their fingers. (A brush makes it even better, but you don't have to have one.) Skin glows like crazy and It erases years off of your appearance. ($38.00)

This are some of my all-time favorites!
The You Sculpted Palette ($40.00) is one of the only palettes to include a matte radiance and contour colors that work on really fair skin. I loved the original version of this palette and the update is even better. The powders blend beautifully and it's easy to get a really natural look.

The Heavenly Luxe Complexion Perfection Foundation Brush ($48.00) is the best foundation brush according to the entire internet. Ask anyone.

You can't go wrong with anything from It, honestly. Keep an eye on Gouldylox for updates on QVC Today Special Values so you don't miss an opportunity to try the brand for less. I've seen a glimpse of what is coming up soon and it's so good! I should have the details by show time, so subscribe and don't miss a thing!

What is your favorite It Cosmetics product? I'm also loving the new Bye Bye Fine Lines Serum, while the Bye Bye Makeup™ 3-in-1 Makeup Melting Cleansing Balm ($38.00) is a treat yo'self way to take your makeup off and the Anti-Aging Armour™ Super Smart Skin-Perfecting Beauty Fluid SPF 50+  ($38.00) is the only way I'll start my mornings. You can't go wrong with It!

Got questions? Wonder if something is worth trying? Ask me anything!

    1. I am still waiting for this to kick in... my lines are a little better around my eyes, but I'm hoping it helps the eye wrinkles that are spreading down my cheek!

  6. I ordered the 6 piece ($69.00) set from QVC and got it today. I was shocked at how it showed every line, crease and pore. I LOVED the new brush, but hated the products. I'm only 43 and it made me look really old. Sorry guys, but it's just not for me.

    1. The brush is great, right? try it one more time before returning it, but use LESS. Like way less than you think you'll need. I think the infomercial shows Jaime applying what looks like SO MUCH makeup to cover that redness, but it really doesn't take as much as a regular product. Whenever there is a learning curve with It, it's almost always using too much.

    2. When I first tried It CC and concealer I didn't like them at all. It seemed to emphasize everything I was trying to hide. But before giving up I read more reviews and realized maybe I was using too much. So I decided to try again using a LOT less than what I'm used to (like half a pump of the CC as opposed to a full pump). And that was the trick. It Cosmetics is so concentrated you have to use way less product. Now I seriously love it. So before you give up on it try using less and see if it helps. Also, definitely warm up the concealer. A pin size drop covers both my undereyes. Good luck!

  7. How do you feel about the Celebration Foundation (if you've tried it)? I just got one and am still trying to decide whether or not I like it. I also have the CC illumination. I didn't like it at first once I figured out that I had to use less (a LOT less) I started to really enjoy it. Same thing with the bye bye undereye concealer. I didn't like it until I began using a tiny speck for both eyes. It's powerful stuff. But the celebration foundation...I'm still undecided. Hmmm, maybe the answer is the same: I'm using too much.

    1. I generally don't care for powder foundations that much. If I have to use one, Celebration would be my third choice (with BarePRO at 1 and Laura Mercier at 2).Play with it and see what you think if you only use a tiny bit.
