We all know nothing can actually heal hair. But you can repair it so it looks healthy, shiny and perfect. Even if it's far from it.
I've been struggling with damaged hair for over a year. I don't have that gorgeous, silky texture you hope to have. Instead I have coarse, damaged, difficult hair. I've tried a million things (check out the hair tab on the right) and have had some fantastic experiences and some total flops.
On Tuesday night, I had a game changing experience and I knew had to tell you about it immediately. I washed and shampooed using Mitch Stone Luster Shampoo and Conditioner. (Which smells and feels amazing, by the way. It's sulfate free, but lathers like crazy. Love it!)
I decided to mix two conditioners together to create a really intensive hair mask. My hair has never felt better, without any heat styling. All I can say is WOW.
Take one part Olaplex #3 (buy it from your stylist) and one part Obliphica Seaberry Hair Mask ($38). Mix the two together and apply to towel dried hair. I left this in my hair for about an hour, while my hair was wrapped in a t-shirt. I then rinsed my hair thoroughly and allowed it to air dry, after blotting it with a t-shirt. When my hair was 75% dry, I twisted the hair and allowed it to dry without adding additional styling creams.
|My hair, really late on Tuesday night. This is air dried, only. And I can't get that pinky liquid lip off to save my cat's soul.|
WOW. That's all I can say. WOW. My hair isn't frizzy, damaged looking or "sticky". It's soft, manageable and shiny. In other words, it's the opposite of how my hair normally feels and looks.
|Taken the following evening. I did no styling. I woke up with my hair like this. For real. (And that is a different pink lippie.)|
If you have damaged hair and nothing is fixing it, try this. It worked wonders for my parched hair.
Mitch Stone Shampoo and Conditioner are available for $36 from MitchStoneHair.com. Obliphica Seaberry Hair Mask is available for $38 from Ulta. Olaplex #3 is the third part of a salon-only chemical process. You will have to purchase #3 from a salon that uses Olaplex. To locate a salon near you via their website.
Try this and send me a photo of your before and after. I think I love my hair now!
