Makeup Wars: Under Eye Correctors

Under the eyes are such a problem for so many of us. It seems like that delicate skin shows off your age without permission, screams to everyone when you don't have enough sleep and betrays you at every turn. I've tried everything and I have a few products that I use daily to look perfect, even when far from it.

Start with good skincare.

Be sure to keep the skin under the eye really hydrated. If fine lines are creeping up on you, try Dr. Brandt's Needles No More. It seems like something that wouldn't work but I swear, it makes the skin freaky smooth over time. And the instant results are noticeable too!

If you just need a great eye cream, try Algenist, Perricone or Paula's Choice Resist Intensive Repair Cream. (It's not an eye cream, but it works so well!)

Prep the Under Eye Area.

Make sure you use a good primer under your eyes. It doesn't need to be a special primer, but one that helps keep skin looking really fresh and juicy. My favorite, hands down, is Mally Beauty's Perfect Prep Poreless Primer.

Conceal The Right Way.

Add a bit of sunshine under the eyes to camouflage the dark circles. Mally Beauty's Perfect Prep Under Eye Brightener is kind of amazing.

The best concealer I've found comes from It Cosmetics. Depending on how much concealer you need, it has the one that will work for you. Grab the black tube for hardcore coverage and the blue pot for a little coverage and a little skincare. It's amazing.

  4. Yippee No more under eye problems.
I have tried the IT concealer. Helps in hiding the age spots but is a bit pricey to use long term and it does feel a bit sticky sometimes.
