This week, I'm all about bright lips and big hair.
Bite Beauty makes a gorgeous High Pigment Pencil. Tuesday was so rainy and so dreary that it needed a little post-lunch brightening. Pomegranate from Bite is exactly what this blogger needed! It's a great pick-me-up, an all-over face brightener. It goes so well with a good, heavy lash and a nautical theme that I might start planning my clothes around my need to wear this color.
While getting my hair colored this week at Laboratorie, I got to try a new salon treatment from Davines. The Natural Tech Leave-In Replumper salon treatment for your hair includes a conditioning treatment that simultaneously plumps the hair and closes the cuticle. The salon applies the treatment, you wait ten minutes and rinse. Then your hair looks and behaves considerably nicer for up to 8 weeks. So far, my ends are amazing and my hair looks like it has found its groove again.
Wanting more volume, I tried some new products from Kerastase. Specifically, I checked out their new Iconic Styling Mousse Bouffante and Laque Dentelle Micro-mist Hairspray. For extreme volume and touchable style, these products delivered.
My hair was big. It was brushable, touchable and soft. And the style stayed two days, despite hitting the gym in between.
(Balance and Brighten is so pretty for very fair skin!)
Finally, I may have found a holy grail foundation combination for pale skinned chicas. Bobbi Brown's new Foundation Stick in Alabaster topped with Laura Geller's Balance and Brighten in Porcelain leaves my skin perfect, without looking like I'm wearing much makeup. The look lasts for about 8 hours and my face actually matches my neck in the car mirror, which is previously unheard of.
Next week, I'll have newness from Tarte, Laura Geller and LORAC. What did you love this week? Tell me all about it!
