I had to think long and hard about what products I've been really loving this week. Despite hitting all of my usual stores, not much has really caught my eye. But still, a few products managed to make an impression. This week seems to have been the week of my furbabies wanting to get in on the action. Bean is out of control, always asking to "help" during photos, but then not really liking it. Not sure what I'm talking about? Check out this video.
1. TIGI Catwalk Curls Rock Curl Amplifier is giving my hair major curls. Ever since I started going blond, my bleached bits have been weird. They are air-drying really wavy. My good friend Holly suggested I try TIGI's Curls Rock to really amplify them and WOW. While they air-dry in beachy waves that are easily brushed out, when I use my hot rollers with hair that's been dried with this cream, I get crazy Carrie Underwood-sized hair. Or so my boss, who notices nothing, tells me.
2. Roux Porosity Control and Corrector Conditioner makes the list again. While not hydrating, this is dramatically improving the overall health of my hair, really quickly. My cuticle seems closed, my hair isn't overly frizzy and the change is dramatic.
3. Bobbi Brown's Skin Foundation Stick has been updated to include a transparent base and skin correcting pigments. I had to pick up Alabaster, the lightest color made, so my skin wasn't yellow. It does look amazing and wears much, much better than the previous version.
4. I just received this new nail strengthening system from Trind that I'm excited to try out. You apply a balm to your nails, allow it to dry and then seal with their keratin based top coat. I'm using the Protector and Restorer. It doesn't look like you are wearing polish, instead your nails looked buffed. Hopefully this will help strengthen my nails after wearing gels for several weeks. I'll update you in a few weeks. I'm hopeful that using Trind will help!
That's all I have for this week. Sorry. Here's a picture of Dirk Diggler making a face to make it up to you.
What did you love this week? Anything?
