Fab Five Friday: Dove, Gelaze & Prestige Cosmetics

Dove is releasing a new type of body wash. If a creme and a mousse had a baby, it would be this glorious body wash, Dove Creme Mousse Body wash.

It's so light yet so hydrating. Dove has been my absolute favorite body wash for years and that isn't changing anytime soon. I'll have more soon on what's new from Dove, but in the meantime, if you need new body wash, GET THIS.

Gelaze by China Glaze is the at-home/professional version of a gel nail. I'm terrible at nails and I found this hard to apply (it gets all weird and clear and moves around like jelly on the nail), but the end result was pretty great, even though I did it myself. It's been a week and no chips! I love these two colors, 108 Degrees and Coconut Kiss--especially Coconut Kiss (the purple!)

Prestige Cosmetics, as part of their Totally Intense line, is releasing amazing jumbo lip crayons. These are in colors you usually only see from Urban Decay. Total Wear Lip Crayons are hydrating, smooth and long-wearing. The colors are far from nude. Even their nude color (Bare It All) packs a pigmented punch. Score them for $9.50 each at a drugstore near you! I'll have swatches of the full line soon! Party Shine (bright, shimmering pink) is my go to color this week. It's so radiant and pretty, perfect to brighten up your face. Wine Not (a pretty berry) is gorgeous for a night out or to complement a nude shadow.

What did you discover this week? Tell me all about it!

  1. I think $9.50 is a lot for the Prestige lip crayons. I know I spend more on other brands but my impression of Prestige is one of the least expensive of the drugstore brands. Unless I could test the colors I'd be reluctant to buy one.

  2. I'm loving the look of the Prestige pencils! I need to find them!! I just tried the ChG Gelaze last week, and despite a bit of shrinking I liked it. I will definitely be grabbing the Dove mousse when I see it!
