How to Avoid the Winter Skin Blahs

My skin freaks out in the winter. It's dry and itchy and let's not even talk about my hands. What happens to them is not fit for discussion amongst polite company. If you're struggling, try any of these to get some relief!

For your hands, try Josie Maran Whipped Argan Oil Intensive Hand Cream. This is the only product that has worked on my hands this season. I keep it with me constantly and apply every time I think about it. The result? My dry, cracked hands are no longer raw and painful. And my cuticles even look decent. If you get the little kit at Sephora, you'll also get polish removers that don't smell bad and actually do remove polish. I've never seen anything like them.

For your face, consider trying Eraclea's Pure Hydration Serum. It's a hydrating gel that never feels oily or leaves skin feeling greasy. Perfect for stressed, irritated skin, this moisture-intensive serum uses zinc to reduce bacteria and redness on the skin so chapped, dry skin can heal. The serum delivers pure hydration to rejuvenate and replenish the skin. Developed to help Russian women survive winter beautifully, I'm not surprised it really works!

If you are up for trying a face oil, Boscia's Tsubaki Beauty Oil is still my favorite. Try it alone or mix it with your favorite serum for a quick boost in hydration and radiance! You'll only need a few drops to really improve the appearance of your skin.

Finally, to prep for that party, treat yourself to one of the most radiance-boosting at-home facials I've tried. M.Steves Reviving Exfoliatior delivers without being too rough on the skin. Made with nourishing goodies like rose hips oils and glycolic acid to turn over skin cells, this really is like a facial in a jar! It also contains Dead Sea mud to help extract impurities from the skin. You're left with glowing skin that looks as if you've just had a very luxe facial.  If you really want a treat, try adding a little of M.Steves Ultra-Nourishing Boost to the exfoliator. Just a few drops will up your radiance like a dial that goes to 11. Use the oil again at night after the facial to really see a difference! You'll wake up looking oh-so refreshed!
