Essence of Beauty Shea Indulgence Radiant Butter Scrub (CVS/Pharmacy, $7.99) is not a wimpy scrub that leaves you wondering when the scrubbing will happen. Instead, when applied to dry skin, the granules remove dead skin cells and leave fresher, younger skin behind. When you rinse, the scrub melts into a light and lovely shea butter with a faint scent. It's kind of amazing.

Lumene Complete Rewind Recovery Day Cream (CVS/Pharmacy, $29.99) is like a much more expensive cream but at an affordable price. Blended with Arctic Sea Buckthorn, peptides, SPF 15, olive oil, shea butters and natural fillers, this slightly shimmering cream leaves skin feeling, soft, younger and protected from minimal sun.

NYX Butter Gloss in Peach Cobbler (Ulta, $5.00) is a sweet tasting, buttery gloss that gives lips a bit of glossy color that is never sticky.

Maybelline SuperStay 14 Hours Lipstick in Never Ending Nude (CVS/Pharmacy, $8.99) is my favorite nude lipstick at the moment. It reminds me of Chanel Cashmere, but way cheaper and lasts longer. Plus, it doesn't dry out your lips!

Maybelline Clean Express Waterproof Makeup Remover (Ulta, $5.99is super gentle while it removes tricky mascara. It doesn't make my eyes water or burn and removes the nitty gritty fast.

Ponds Luminous Finish  BB+ Cream (CVS/Pharmacy, $12.99) blew me away with how beautiful it made my skin look. It's more than a tinted moisturizer. It also has a bit of skincare to help improve the tone of your skin while a luminous finish makes you look flawless in a flash.

Don't forget to sign up for the beauty rewards programs at your favorite store! Ulta gives you points towards money off future purchases and CVS/Pharmacy Beauty Club gives you coupons for every $50 you spend plus occasional money saving coupons off of your favorite beauty items! Both will save you mucho dinero over a few months!

I went to CVS this morning to pick up some other items and found this blush and "Lip Elixer" from Maybelline. Color Elixer is a new lippie in the ColorSensational line. Available in twenty shades, the colors seem to be very pigmented, cushiony, soft, shiny and long wearing. I had hoped they might dry down like the YSL Vinyls I love so much, but they don't. Instead, they hug the lips, stay shiny and don't dry out the lips. Think of it as a liquid lipstick. I picked up Dashing Orchid. I also couldn't resist the limited edition Pink Weave blush. The top sheen is an overspray, but the color left behind is a really pretty soft golden pink.

  1. LOVE the blush! Is the Maybelline Never Ending Nude in OUR fav peach shade?

  2. Never Ending Nude is just that, a nude. It's not peachy. ... but you know I do love me some peaches. ...
