Beauty Editors Pick Their Favorite Fall Lip Colors

Purchased by Me

A few weeks ago, I was invited to create a video about my favorite lipstick for fall. After watching all of the the submissions, I'm a little surprised that almost everyone picked something along the same line. Not red, not nude, but something else. What do you think? Too 90s? Love it or leave it? Tell me in the comments!

  1. I have always been a fan of the brown lip shades... so for me .. I love it!

  2. Uh oh, I'll probably be the odd woman out here. Not loving the browns. Too 90s, dull and lifeless. I'm not a vampy shade person either so not loving those. I have a thin upper lip and I think the dark, vampy shades are not flattering unless you have very full, pouty lips. Even if they are glossy, they still make the lips look thinner, at least to me. Sorry ladies, no shade intended. These just aren't doing it for me.

    1. No shade assumed!! I have been seriously against browns for months. But I really, really love the one from Estee. Try it. Dooo eeeit. You might be surprised !! xoxo

    2. I promise I'll try it the next time I'm at a counter! I too have red hair and fair skin so maybe I'll be surprised in real life. I used to be in love with a Clinique Butter Shine lipstick that was brownish (Adore U?) I think was the shade name. I wore it to death and finally one of my friends said that color is just too dark on you and not flattering. Maybe that's what scarred me for life on brown lippies :)

  3. I must be on the same wavelength as my new favorite happens to be a brown too. It's even named Brown Sugar.
