What's the twist? What is a power neutral? So many questions! Let's start with what makes the Power Neutrals Ready 8.0 Shadows a little left of center of every other nude palette. Instead of several degrees of bronze and brown, this collection offers up a few matte grey shades, matte browns and three neutral shades that range from twinkling vanilla to a slightly smokey bronze nude.
There is even a matte green shade if you really want to stretch the boundaries of nudes! I will admit that I've been reaching for the light grey shades every day for a week.
There is only a small amount of shimmer in this collection, but that is all that you really need!
Take a look at the READY Color Boost Cheek Color.
You get a highlighter, cheek color and contour shade all in one. This cheek color is so neutral, anyone can wear it. It's like a little pop of color. Nothing too brash or too understated. It's just right.
As for the Moxies, I really love both lip shades.
Take Charge is a my-lips-but-better nude. It's a great compliment for those with fair skin (and red hair!) and borders on being a taupe-y brown lip shade with a tinge of pinkish bronze.
The Super Power Lipgloss gives shine and shimmer with only a touch of color.
I love to layer them (or use with a nude Moxie lip pencil!). These both tend to hug the lips and give decent wear time. The lipgloss is a little on the sticky side, but no more than their other lipglosses.
