My Favorite Skincare Line You've Never Heard Of: Patyka BIOKALIFTIN

Since Fashion Week last September, I've been using Patyka Skincare. In fact, I've "hit pan" on most of my supply. If you've ever spent a lot of time reading blogs, you know we don't actually hit pan very often. Not sure what hitting pan means? It means you've used everything the product has to offer, down to the last drop. And for a beauty bloggers that happens almost never.

What makes this so special?  Paytka is a French line based on "beauty trotters" finding the best of the best. Their goal is to make your wishes come true; making beauty obtainable and showing you how to love the process. Patyka is globally conscious and constantly refines their exotic blends to make them deliver what you want; gorgeous skin. I fell for the Biokaliftin Radiant Cleansing Ritual. I've used it for double my normal testing time and if I hadn't hit pan on the products, I would keep going.

Here is how the Biokaliftin Radiant Cleansing Ritual works. First, you wash your face with their Remarquable Cleansing Oil, following the directions on their recyclable packaging. Granted, they suggest you massage your face for a long time. I didn't really do that on most nights. But I did use the oil to cleanse and remove makeup and trust me, it's heavenly. Next you thoroughly cleanse away any impurities with their Delicate Cleansing Foam. This removes any leftover traces of the oil as well as any additional dirt and debris from the face. Finally, you finish by swabbing the face using their Smoothing Revitalising Toner. Sidenote: I'm not a big fan of toners in general. I don't think they serve much of a purpose. I think they're better at taking your money then doing anything beneficial for your face. Not  this one. Smoothing Revitalising Toner  is essentially hyaluronic acid (along with other organic and good for your skin ingredients) that plumps your face and makes it glow. If I had to pick one toner to use for a year, it would be this.  The hyaluronic acid alone is worth the price for the glowing skin you get immediately afterwards. Your face is fresh, fine lines are plumped and your skin is radiant.

Afraid to try a cleansing oil? Don't be. This oil helps remove make up and traces of the day. It never burns the eyes, like many other cleansing oils with unnecessary extra ingredients. It removes everything with one swipe and makes your skin feel soft, supple and beautiful. Following the facial massage suggested on the interior of the box will also aid in lymphatic drainage, giving you tighter, younger looking skin.

Skin care lines as a whole generally don't impress me easily. However, Patyka's Radiant Cleansing Ritual delivered. Check it out for yourself at www.patyka.com.

  3. You had me at PLUMP for the toner,as due to age and rapid weight loss, I now look like Skeletor face and am obsessed with anything that might help take the gaunt away! That and dark circles... together they become Skeletor. Too bad this is way way out of my price range.

  4. You're right, I hadn't heard of this line, but it sounds great & I actually love cleansing oils! Plus, I know packaging shouldn't matter, but I always really like when brands choose clean, minimal packaging like this :)

  5. I know how loathe one is to try something new when you've found something wonderful, but I wonder if you've ever tried "Tatcha"? It is a fabulous skin care line, unlike anything I've ever tried and I've tried many through the decades. It has a Camellia Oil cleanser with no mineral oil so it washes off completely with just water. Next you use a cleansing powder ( 3 to choose from for your skin type) and mix it with water and it turns into the silkiest creamiest lather. It gently exfoliates your skin with enzymes instead of grains so no scrubbing, no irritation, no redness after you wash it off. It will leave your skin clean, pure and calm, without redness, no over drying and no greasiness. They sell a trial size kit of 5 or six products for $49 and this will last you for a couple weeks. Check out their website for more info, if you're interested. It will give you skin like a Geisha's!

    1. Patyka can be found at independent boutiques. If you provide your city and state I may be able to suggest a store for you to pick up Patyka. However Patyka can be found at online partners such as www.dermstore.com, www.beautybar.com and www.spiritbeautylounge.com as well as others.
