Lise Watier is not a new line. In fact, it's been around since 1972 as a makeup line in Canada. Last fall, they opened their site to the US and products have been showing up on American blogs ever since (so much easier than having someone in Canada send you some!). Although Lise Watier is not just makeup alone. It also includes a comprehensive skincare line and a fragrance line. Think of it as the Lancome of Canada.
I got the chance to check out many of Lise Watier's signature items and here is a look at some favorites which travel in my makeup bag everywhere I go.
Havana Bronzing Powder in Light is the perfect bronzer for us pale girls. It's just the right bit of color to add a beachy tint or sculpt perfectly chiseled cheeks. I'm not kidding when I say it's replaced all of my other natural bronzers. It's not too shiny or too matte. It's just perfect. And coming from a Goldilocks of a girl who is never satisfied, that says a lot.
Portfolio Professional Correctors are available in three different shades for light, medium and deep skin tones. Each contain gorgeous, blendable, long wearing cream correctors that give you flawless face in a few mere moments. I honestly never cared for these type of correctors before I met this one. Now I can't stop sculpting my face. It looks like all of the others, but it's fantastic. The colors are soft and not chalky, it wears really well and looks incredibly natural.
Haute Couleuer High Coverage Lip Lacquer are gorgeous lip lacquers that give nice shine and color without looking fake. These are the kind of glosses you see on celebs in the mags that look perfectly natural and beautiful, as if they were born with that pucker. Plus, they come with an LED light in the cap for nighttime touch ups. I honestly thought that was a little gimmicky until I needed it one evening and it quickly went from lame to brilliant. It's been in my purse ever since.
What is your favorite line of cosmetics this year people may not know about? Tell me in the comments so I can check it out!
