There are so many reasons women start to lose hair. Some of it is predetermined and sometimes it's other factors. Stress, diet, illness and the environment you live in all take a toll on your body, including your hair. While I can't promise I can help you grow hair, I have most certainly discovered a few treatments that help boost your hair growth by stimulating the scalp. I've tried all of these and gotten noticeable results. Many of these work in different ways, so not all are right for you. But if you tend to lose hair a bit at the change of seasons, or are looking to boost your current mane, check out these suggestions!
Keranique Hair Re-Growth Treatment: This contains 2% Minoxidil, the only FDA-approved treatment that has been clinically proven to help grow hair. You apply a full dropper to your scalp twice per day. That's it! This is a serious drug, so you should be sure to carefully read the warnings associated with using this treatment.
Leonor Greyl Tonique Vivifiant: This is an easy-to-use spray. You leave it in your hair to help bring vitality back to your strands. It also stimulates the scalp and improves the overall appearance of your hair.
Peter Lamas Chinese Herbs: Regenerating Scalp Serum, Shampoo and Conditioner continue to be one of my all time favorite collection of products. It helped me grow my hair from a pixie to three inches past my shoulders in about two years. It's based on ancient medicine practices, won't break the bank and it's sulfate-free!
Nioxin: This line offers a wide range of treatments based on why your hair is thinning. From products that make your hair fuller to cleansing the scalp of sebum-blocked follicles, they have products that can work for you. Diamax is especially interesting, as it helps make each strand of hair you currently have look thicker.
PHYTO 'Phytophanere' Dietary Supplement for Hair & Nails: These vitamins have helped me grow longer, stronger hair. They work. Plain and simple. And, it will help your nails. It's a win/win.
