Before I dive into a face from MBFW Spring 2013 that I adore, let's talk about charities. Right now, I've got nothing but love for Laura Mercier. She recently created the Laura Mercier Ovarian Cancer Fund after watching several close, personal friends struggle with this disease. Laura Mercier is donating ONE HUNDRED PERCENT of the profits from her Bonne Mine Healthy Glow for Face & Cheeks Crème Colour Palette ($48) and from her Lip Glace in Rose Hope ($24) to her Ovarian Cancer Fund. In the age of "pinking" everything for charity, where almost nothing actually benefits the fund, I'm proud to work with Laura Mercier to help spread the word about her latest mission. Please check out the Bonne Mine Palette and the Lip Glace. They are beautiful colors for a great cause.
Now, while we are talking about beautiful colors, take a look at the subtle, gorgeous face created by Matin Maulawizada for the Pamela Rolland presentation. I love the delicate yet sexy eye and the just barely flushed colors. It's simple, lovely and very, very wearable.
Face: Foundation Primer, Tinted Moisturizer Creme Compact, Shimmer Block in Mosaic.
Lips: Smooth Lip Creme in Angelic
Eyes: Eye Canvas, New Artist Luxe Liquid Liner (available in Oct. 12)
What do you think? Are you loving the simple colors and effortless glam or do you think the brights of the summer and fall of 2012 should hold on as long as they can?
