Makeup Wars! Favorite Makeup Brush: Gouldylox

My favorite brushes are those that make me look like I am way better at doing my own makeup than I actually am. I own scores of MAC, Trish McEvoy, Sonia Kashuk and others that I've picked up over the last 15 years. While I would never trade my Sephora PRO eyebrow brush, my favorite brush is one that I pick up almost every day since it found its way on to my happy little vanity.

My favorite right now is the Christina Choi Bullet Crease Brush ($22) and it is lovely. It's the perfect size for getting my crease perfectly and giving me exact blending, without smushing everything together. It also has a tiny, small point that is wonderful for smoking outlines along the top and bottom lid.

Little known fact (except by long-term readers to whom I apologize for the redundancy): I can barely see out of one eye. My right eye gives wonky a new name. So I have to do everything by feel on my left eye. This means lining, blending, everything. Until I figure out where to get the perfect breakaway glasses or a prescription monocle for a reasonable price, I have to do it essentially blind.

Wondering who Christina Choi is and why her brushes are so special? She has been a nationally recognized makeup artist for years and most recently was the designer of Makeup Artistry for Bare Escentuals. You know how many brushes that company has. Christina knows what works and she has designed the best of the best based on her experience, and offers them up at a decent price. Take care of your brushes and your brushes will take care of you!

The Bullet Crease brush makes easy work of blending and finding the exact spot where you should be using a crease color. Pick one up for $22 from Christina Choi Cosmetics.

Wondering what else is the favorite of my Makeup Wars compadres? Check out each one below! If we are missing any, I'd love to know about them. Tell me why you love your favorite brush below!
