Totally Get This Tuesday: Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm

Since I have been without power, I missed Must Have Monday. So check out my find for Totally Get This Tuesday!

I've been having lots of ingredient issues as of late. I don't know if it's allergies, a change in my skin, or bad luck, but for the last month, my normally rock-solid skin is wimpy, whiny and being a brat. After two BB Creams sent me screaming from all cosmetics, it's been hard to get my skin to calm down and get back to normal.

Since I don't have sensitive skin, I'm not accustomed to a basic product causing my face to feel like it's burning. My beloved YSL Touche Eclat now makes my face feel like it's burning. Does it do that on a normal day? No, of course not. But for several days (upwards of a week) after each of my methyl methacrylate reactions, it's taking my skin some serious downtime to return to normal. And after each exposure, it seems like my skin is more and more fragile.

I'm nervous to put anything on it, but a friend suggested I try Miracle Skin Transformer Heal Everything Balm. This balm contains over 30 moisturizers and emollients to help soothe irritated skin, including Manuka Honey. Manuka Honey comes from the nectar produced by the Manuka Tree, which is mainly found in New Zealand. It is known for its unique flavor and health benefits, including anti-bacterial properties. Rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals, this naturally nourishing ingredient also protects from free radicals and fight signs of aging.

This is a thick cream that is honestly a little tacky to wear under makeup, in my humble opinion. However, when your skin is burning and you put super gentle eye cream under your peepers, this quiets the fire and you stop caring. The reality is that a little goes a long way, and once you give it time to absorb and apply an SPF on top of it, you'll be just fine. If you aren't suffering from a wonky skin reaction, Heal Everything Balm also helps:

After strong exposure to sun
After skin has been irritated by waxing, shaving, and other cosmetic treatments
After exposure to cold climates and wind burn
To alleviate irritation and redness due to chaffing and sports related activities
To alleviate irritation caused by burns, stings, and bug bites S

So far, this is the only repair cream that has actually helped me recover from my MM run-ins. It doesn't burn and is instantly soothing. Even things that normally help my skin feel better like my CE Ferulic from Skin Ceuticals, feel like fire when my face is agitated. Heal Everything Balm is so much less expensive, at $26, it's a total win.

  1. You need to find a hardworking sunscreen and never leave the house without it! This will help calm your skin after a burn, though...

  2. This is the second positive review I've seen on this product. Thanks for the review! I think I'll have to check it out. I'm very fair and often sunburn even when I do use an SPF. I've even received a sunburn when travelling for several hours in the CAR!!! My son thinks it's funny.  However, when one side of my face, chest, and arm are sunburned and the rest is lily white...I'm not smiling. I'd like a product that takes care of it...FAST. I'll definitely check this out.
