Hansderma Ice Rollers Can Change Your Face Instantly

I'm not kidding around with that title. Esthetician and guru Madeleine Homes of La Papillon Spa will tell you that one of my favorite ways to end a treatment is with her Golden Spoons. I ask for it almost every time I get a facial. Golden Spoons are literally that. A gold-plated, very cold, slightly heavy spoon that you use to help skin look fantastic. The really cold temperature helps wake up tired skin, making it look tighter and less puffy. But more importantly, you use the spoon to help flush fluid out of your face, into what Madeleine calls the "garbage disposals of the body", the lymph nodes. I swear, after a good "spooning", my face looks pounds lighter. My jawline is tight. My double chin potential is reduced to a zero and my face looks amazing. So much, in fact, I coerced my sister in law JLouie to find a large paddle ice cream scoop that stayed cold, to keep it in the freezer so I could paddle my own face. It wasn't as pleasant as the spoons, but it worked.

And then I found these new Ice Rollers from Hansderma. I'm in love. And not only because the company sent me the professional and the home versions of their roller the day before we lost power for a WEEK. (Nothing feels better when your house is 95 degrees inside than sitting with your feet in a cooler of ice water and rolling your face with an Ice Roller. Keep that in mind should it happen to you.)

(Home Ice Roller from Hansderma)

Basically, it works the same way a Golden Spoon (without any electrical current) works. There is a metal/plastic roller that is kept chilly in the freezer. You roll it over your skin to reduce inflammation, drain fluid from your face and give your skin a beautiful glow. And it feels wonderful, whether it's hot outside or not.  It is also the perfect choice if you have had a cosmetic skin procedure and want to cool down the feeling of your skin. I loved it when my skin reacted poorly to a BB Cream. It was one of the only things that didn't burn and gave me some relief.

It's so easy to use. You literally roll it over your face in downward and outward motions, as if you were pushing the fluid towards the bottom of your ears, between your ears and chin, toward the back of your jaw, to aid in lymphatic drainage. That's it. Five to ten minutes of that is pure heaven. Granted, the results are temporary, but you can impress someone for one evening and, over time, your skin may not hold on to as much fluid. Plus, flushing out excess fluid may aid in lessening blemishes. Did I mention your jawline will look remarkably slimmed and tightened?

Pick up the consumer version for about $20 and the professional version for about $50 (although they are on sale at the time I am writing this, so the prices could increase). I would suggest the professional metal roller if you can swing it, but the consumer one will suffice in a pinch. The only downside to these rollers over the spoons is that sometimes there is a slight squeak, depending on the angle and pressure you are using. It's not a deal breaker and you can get rid of the squeak if you change the angle of the roller. It's worth it for the jawline tightening alone.

  1. Skin Needling can be safely performed on all skin colors and types. There is no risk of post inflammatory hyper-pigmentation as the melanocytes remain, like the dermis, intact during Skin Needling.

    1. I agree but do not buy anything longer than 0.3mm if you are using it at home. People misunderstand that short needling won't work. Regularly using the short needling at home can dramatically change your skin health and the appearance of the surface.

    1. Angel For puffiness, it is recommended to use GENOSYS Eye Roller. The ice cold therapy can help only temporary puffiness from fatigue. If it's eye bag or puffiness around eye that appears to be like permanent, Check GENOSYS Eye Cell Kit and contact me. I will check if I can help to find a good solution.

  3. Sounds heavenly. I can imagine it being great for those that get migraines. I like something cold on my head when I get one of those headaches.
