But that changes today. Today, a bright lipstick seems fitting. I can never make up my mind and I change my lip color several times per day (did you see how many I normally carry around?). It dawned on me that I should stop carrying around three pounds of lipstick (literally!) and just switch to this:
The Smooches palette from Yagolicious is a delightfully bright lipstick palette that contains four highly pigmented (not-playin'-around pigmented) reds and pinks. as well as one gorgeous sheer orange-y color that they call a gloss that I would call a sheer.
These colors wear until you take them off and honestly, they don't budge one bit. Each color is formulated with nutrients that lips will love: Vitamins A, C and E, Soy Protein, Cucumber, Jojoba Seed Extract, Castor Seed Oil, Apricot, Chamomile and Sunflower. They feel like they meld with your lips, giving you hours and hours of color.
These lipsticks are neither excessively hydrating nor overly drying. If you have lips on the dry side, you may want to use a lip balm before this product, but you'll probably be fine without it. These colors honestly remind me of the Make Up For Ever Rouge Artist Intense colors, except you get four of them (plus a gloss) for $34.95. The MUFEs are $19 each.
If you are all about the brights right now, this could be your seasonal lip palette!
