Laura Mercier Launches Limited Edition Lip Colors in the Belle Nouveau Collection

Laura Mercier is launching several limited edition lip colors to which you are going to want to pay attention. The first are three new Creme Lip Prints in Nude Coral, Nude Beige and Nude Pink. What is a Creme Lip Print? It's like a little stamp pad of color for your lips. The small square of creamy, pigment is just the right size for an average set of lips to kiss for a perfectly flushed pout.

While you can use your fingers or a brush for a more exact lip look, I love the idea of a quick kiss giving your lips all of the color they need. I tried Nude Coral (no surprise there!) and, like its name implies, it gives a natural, nude hint of coral color.

Also new are a few additions to the Lip Glaces, which are lightly colored, shiny glosses. The new colors are Camellia, Lotus Blossom and Orange Tulip. While I shy away from all pinks, especially hot pinks (even if they are slightly muted), there is something about this one particular color Camellia that looks amazing with my fair complexion. It's pink, but not in an overpowering way. It's actually, dare I say it, quite beautiful.

These colors are hitting the shelves now, so if you are looking for colors and textures to freshen your spring palette, these may be just what you are looking for. Creme Lip Prints and Lip Glaces will be available at Laura Mercier counters and online, and retail for $18-24.
