I want to love at-home facials and masks. I do. But so many of them disappoint and are money wasted with no real difference. When June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish landed at my door, I was suspicious. I didn't want it to be just another pumpkin mask that smelled great and didn't do anything.
As you know, I really dislike anything that promises to scrub that doesn't remove a layer of skin. Why are you wasting my time? Sure, if you have sensitive, rose petal-like skin, then you probably don't want to scrub off part of your skin. But I do. So is it possible for one product to combine a real scrubbing action along with a solid pumpkin enzyme mask?
Much to my surprise, it most certainly is! June Jacobs Perfect Pumpkin Enzyme Polish does a lovely job of making my skin look radiant and pretty. It has enough real scrubbing action to make me happy, and the pumpkin does what pumpkin does. Exfoliates, brightens and makes your face look fresh. I tend to get a serious pumpkin peel monthly and this is the perfect compliment for the weeks in between!
This does actually have a lot of exfoliating power, so only use it twice a week, provided your skin tolerates the strength of this product well. Please don't misread my post. This isn't a super strong mask you should avoid. It does a lovely job of making my skin happy, without sensitizing it in the least.
For those of us who are choosing not to tan in the warmer months, this will make your paler skin look amazing. And if you tan, it will help keep your skin polished. (But seriously. Just wear a bronzer and go heavy on the sunscreen. You'll thank me later.)
This is not inexpensive, but it does a lovely job. Pick this up from June Jacobs for $78.00.
