Too Faced has recently launched one of the best lash extending systems I've ever used. If you've never tried any of these fiber-infused lengthening mascaras, you know how they work. Usually, you take a primer that contains tiny fibers to create the length you desire before you ever put on your dark mascara. Then you add your mascara and you're done.
Sometimes you get massive length and sometimes you get wonky clumps. It's all about dry time and how fast or slow you blend the primer with the mascara. It works but, sometimes, it gets DICEY.
Too Faced brings us their Better Than False Lashes Nylon Lash Extension System because they love us short-lashed ladies and care about our plight (Really, they love all of us. I'm sure I read that in a press release recently.). This system is different from others I've tried and here is why. It's a three-part system, with dry fibers that don't fall all over your face. Here is how it works.
You start with the mascara in the golden tube. This acts as an "Activating Mascara Base" and is also eventually used as a top coat of mascara.
Immediately after putting on one coat of the Activating Mascara Base, you'll want to add a healthy dose of Flexistretch Nylon Fiber to your lashes. These fibers are totally different from anything else I've tried. They are dry, like little tiny bits of cotton fluff, inside the tube. You take the wand and run through your wet lashes. I then like to "pat" more Flexistretch goodness on the tips of my lashes, to add extra length. I let that eye dry thoroughly and work on the other eye. Once my lash and lash extension bits are dry, I add the final coat of black mascara.
Here is what it looks like, step by step, on my lashes.
(Activator Mascara Base on Left Eye Only)
(Activator Mascara added on top of Flexistretch.)
(Both eyes, finished.)
These really look like false lashes. These look more like false lashes than anything else that has come into my capable hands. I love them. If you want to go totally bonkers, add a second coat of Flexistretch before the last coat of mascara dries, and add a final sealing coat of mascara. It's crazy talk, but if you want impossibly long lashes, this is what you are looking for.
