The Shinest Hair Ever! Suave Keratin Dry Conditioner

Suave is hands down one of my favorite drugstore brands. There isn't always such a difference in ingredients when you get down to the nitty-gritty and Suave gives great bang for the buck.

I've already exulted over the virtues of the Suave Keratin Infusion Dry Shampoo. Honestly, all of their dry shampoos work amazingly well and smell fantastic. In fact, I'm related to a lovely lady (who shall remain nameless) who recently vacationed at a home and left behind her dry shampoo. When I went to vacation at the same home two weeks later, she made sure to send me texts, emails and leave voicemail messages reminding me to check the third shelf in the closet for her dry shampoo. She even had her daughter text me to make sure I didn't forget it. She really wanted it back. I naturally assumed it was an expensive brand I could never afford, which is usually the case when these things happen. When I opened the closet and discovered it was Suave, I couldn't stop giggling. It's just that good.

Anyway, back to the review at hand. On days when I'm using a dry shampoo, my hair often looks a little lackluster and meh. A dry shampoo does great things, but sometimes leave my hair wanting a little shine, a little softness, a little love.

So I was checking out some newness from Suave when I came across their Keratin Dry Conditioner. Dry Conditioner? I love it when new categories in products pop up before my eyes! I've tried some conditioners that spray via aerosol, but never a dry conditioner with shine as a side effect.

But what exactly is it?  It's a spray that magically makes locks shinier than anything I've ever seen before, brings out all of the color in your hair and makes your hair slightly softer. You have to use it sparingly, as a little goes extremely far. In fact, I would start by spraying it into your hands and then running your hands over the top of your hair. Or I would mist it near your hair and shake your hair into it. It's powerful stuff and too much will make it look greasy.

That said, when I wanted to make my pony tail, sides and bangs look ultra sleek, this was better than any shine treatment I have used in months. If you are avoiding silicones, then this isn't for you. If you are fine with some silicones for brilliant shine, then you are going to want to try this out, asap. This is hitting shelves near you any day, so be on the look out and snatch it up!

  1. I "treat" my hair to sauve shampoo and conditioner from time to time. I also regularly use (and love) the dry shampoo. Would you say this conditioner is like an airy, lightweight leave in conditioner?

  2. This product makes your hair look conditioned, more than it actually conditions.
