One you will want to be on the lookout for is Laura Mercier's new Oil Free Supreme Foundation. This foundation feels light on the skin, but can achieve a fuller finish if desired. It doesn't settle in fine lines and wears beautifully - easily for a full work day, if not longer. And it's available in twelve different shades, ranging from Porcelain to Rich Sienna.
(Shown in Porcelain Ivory)
This foundation also contains good for your skin ingredients, including:
Aloe Bardadens – soothes and refresh skin.
Green Tea Leaf Extract – provides antioxidant and astringent properties.
Vitamin E – provides moisturizing properties.
Vitamin A – provides antioxidant and moisturizing capabilities and helps to reduce the appearance of wrinkles and fine lines.
Panthenol– a hydrating agent that improves skin’s natural moisture balance.
I found that this foundation actually made my skin look radiant, covered fine lines well and gave me a slightly dewy finish, without leaving me shiny. I prefer the slightly heavier coverage this foundation naturally gives, but if you would like to sheer it out, just apply it with a dampened sponge. I used the Porcelain Ivory shade, which contained a bit of yellow, but did not oxidize on me during the day.
This foundation will be available in April for $42.
