Maybelline Dream Bouncy Blush: Get Yours Before They're All Gone!

If you see these on a shelf, run, do not walk and pick up your favorite colors. They are going to be impossible to find. Trust me!

As one of the first decent cream-powder hybrids at the drugstore level, Maybelline's new Dream Bouncy Blushes, are going to move fast. Sure, there are other cream blushes. But these are special.

First of all, they actually feel bouncy. The name doesn't lie. The texture is actually like a sponge, but smooth and satin-y. When you apply the color, you get a burst of color that sinks into your cheeks and leaves a dewy glow. It seems to magically blur the edges and add a slight radiance to the skin. I picked up Candy Coral to try for myself, but there are ten colors to choose from!

(Candy Coral with flash. The radiance is so pretty!)

You can apply these in a few ways. With a sponge, dabbed and feathered out. With your fingers, which isn't my first choice. Or my preferred method, with a densely packed blush brush.

(Candy Coral without a flash.)

You'll need the tension on the bristles to pick up the color, but then the color will melt into your skin.

(Wearing Candy Coral)

These are going to be hard to find, and I am already hearing reports of them being sold out in advance of them officially launching. If you check them out, let me know what you think!

I bought this. I want more of them.

  4. These wear nicely. I think it's more about setting your foundation and blush with creams. Although I will admit to having a face that eats all blush, no matter what. I got an 8 hours with this.

  5. I eventually want to try these, but want to wait until the hype dies down. Sometimes I get caught up in the hype and buy things I don't need or want! LOL

I bought a pink and the coral. The display was already picked apart and I'd just been there two days apart! The coral looks great on you!

  8. Great
review, these look gorgeous! Do you find these last long on your
cheeks? I sometimes find cream blushes have disappeared by lunchtime!

  9. Are these intended to be limited edition, then? I thought (based solely on the CVS and Walgreens clearance sales) that they'd be replacing the old Dream Mousse blushes.

  11. i forget the name of this very same blush line also from maybelline.  then they discontinue it about 5yrs ago, replace it with the mousse ones and now they bring this back again.  yey, i guess, i do hope they don't discontinue the mineral blushes, those are really nice, too
