I am a terrible flier. I always have to check my bags, which infuriates the likes of gal pal, Anne Houseman of Beauty Xpose. I can't help it. I am beauty-obsessed and can't fathom the thought of TSA throwing out anything. I'm still mad they took my favorite pair of cuticle nippers in 2003.
Here are a few holiday ideas to make traveling easier and faster--something I am hoping to experience myself when I travel to Boston and Chicago in the same day. At least there is room in the budget for a nice hotel room, because that is going to be one Amazing Race kind of trip. And because, the world is so small, my cameraman actually went to high school with me (although we didn't know each other) and I'm hoping to pull stories out of him about our mutual friends. It's the little things that get me through crazy work projects, I tell ya.
Anyway, here are some ideas on ways to get through security without checking a bag or losing your stuff.
Laura Mercier Baked Eye Colour Palette is an easy way to enhance your eyes this holiday season. In shades of warm bronze, cool pink and smoky lilac, this beautiful palette features a range of five Baked Eye Colours, plus a mini Double-Ended Eye Colour/Crème Eye Detail Brush for flawless application. This palette is the perfect product for any girl on the go.
Accentuating Color Stick from Shiseido will give you gorgeous lips and cheeks on the go with no drama from our TSA friends. It's small, it'll go anywhere and not take up a huge amount of room in your carry-on. It's available in six colors and I bet you can all guess that I'm a fan of Peach Flush. I'm so predictable sometimes.
In a pinch, a baby wipe will work as a cleanser for me. It's not perfect, but it'll do. Try one upping a baby wipe with these Lumene Sensitive Touch Cleansing Wipes. Formulated with Arctic Organic Linen Seed Extract, the wipes are alcohol-free, colorant-free, fragrance-free, paraben-free, and silicone-free. They can quickly and easily remove impurities and makeup from the skin with no need to rinse off. Pick up 10 for $2.99 from CVS.
Finally, if it's just a quick trip, toss some dry shampoo in your bag. The All Nighter Dry Shampoo can cover roots and absorb oil like it was made by Kevin Costner. Have you already forgotten he can do everything?
What is your favorite TSA trick? Tell me, so I don't have to check my bag!
I purchased the color stick and already owned the dry shampoo. Everything is is wishful thinking on my part.
